Halloween signs

I love these pumpkins and they were easy to make. I painted scrap wood blocks orange and painted black faces on them. I sanded them down to distress them, added a stick as a stem and tied a scrap of green home spurn around the stem.

Paper Pumpkin Halloween Decoration

I cut approx. 2 1/2" wide strips of 12x12 double sided paper in various shades of orange. For this pumpkin I cut about 2 inches or so off of the length so the strips were about 2 1/2 x 10". I layered the papers on a brad then did the same for the top so they all connect, forming a "pumpkin" shape. I freehanded a leave and used double stick tape to attach it. The stem is two pieces of brown polka dot ribbon taped onto the stem of the leaf so it stands up. This is for Pam for our Halloween Decoration swap.
