Cookie Mix in a Jar

Cookie mix layered in a jar with patterned paper and raffia to decorate it. This was a spaghetti sauce jar and I also used a pickle jar for another mix.

Frienship Scone Mix

Friendship scone mix in a plastic baggie inside this paper bag rolled with a stampin' up roller. I folded the top over, tied a bow with raffia and attached an ornament tag.

Baggie of Magnets

I made gift bags for people in my family with these magnets and the jar gifts and mixes.

Soup Mix in a Frappachino Bottle

"Friendship Soup Mix"
Split Peas and lentils, seasoned rice, italian seasoning, onion flakes layered in a jar to cook in the crock pot. Paper and raffia tied around it and a circle of patterned paper to cover the label on the cap.

Hot Cocoa Mix in Frappachino Bottle

Hot cocoa mix, chocolate chips and marshmallows layered in the cute frappachino bottle with Christmas paper and a raffia bow tied around it.

Zebra Tab Top Curtains

Here are the zebra tab top curtains I made for a friend. She bought a king sheet set. The short panels for the small window are made out of the pillow cases so they have the white trim on the bottom. I made the two large panels out of the flat sheet, which also had the white trim. I thought they came out pretty cute and I like the way the white trim and black piping really finish them off.

Zebra Trim Lampshade

To make my friend's zebra curtains, I had to cut up a fitted sheet to have enough fabric to do the tabs. I cut out the elastic all the way around and it made this elastic funky uneven looking trim. I decided to hot glue it (with my new glue gun - thanks Pam) on the top and bottom of this plain lampshade...it's funky - I like it.

Gifts for co-workers

Each bag is a little different. They are all rolled with a mitten stampin up roller and clipped with a decorated clothespin magnet and tag. Inside they are filled with all of the treats below.

Chocolate Dipped Pretzels

Pretzels dipped in melted milk chocolate and topped with coconut, walnuts, sprinkles or crushed candy canes.

Melting Snowman Cracker Chocolates

These were a mistake...
I thinned the white chocolate waaaayyy too much for these peanut butter ritz cracker sandwiches so they didn't look as nice as the milk chocolate. they kind of looked like melting snowmen so I used the milk chocolate and dotted on eyes and a mouth with a toothpick and added an orange sprinkle for the nose. I think they are very cute.

Jar "safes"

Here are the jar safes I made for my nieces and nephew for Christmas. I added a sticker for their name on the outside of the jar then hot glued a toilet paper roll inside. I filled the inside around the roll and added a little to the bottom. Then you can keep money, jewelry etc. inside and no one will know what is really inside.

Handprint Snowman Ornament

Okay, I swear I haven't been slacking. I can't really post anything since everything I've been making lately has been Christmas presents for people who look at this. . .
But this is a gift from my niece and nephew. You paint your hand white and slowly curl your hand around an ornament to make 5 little snowmen. Draw eyes, buttons and a nose - very cute. This has both of their hand prints, one on each side..
