Paperbag Album for Steph

This is the paperbag album I "whipped up" for Steph at work to put her own pictures in. I think i used 5 paper bags and stapled ribbon tabs for the pullout pages.

Bright Pink and Brown Baby Quilt

Here's the brighter version of the same quilt and the back of the quilt with Yara's name in Egyptian.

Light Pink and Brown Baby Quilt

Here's the front and back of one of the baby "take 5" (5 pieces to each block and 5 different fabrics) The pillow came out cute. I cut the baby's name out of black cotton with heat and bond on the back using the cricut (Plantin Schoolbook) then ironed the letters on.

Someone at work gave me a bag of random beads so I decided to see what I could "whip up."

Retirement Scrapbook Page

This was my contribution to the scrapbook for someone at work who is retiring. The poem is one she gave us in a meeting a while ago.

Bunny Bags

Paper bags for the kids Easter presents. I used the Easter Solutions to cut out the bunny and mini monograms for their initials. I made the "tail" with a cotton ball.

Easter Bunny Box for Pam

Haven't posted anything in a month (Shh, don't tell Pam.) This was the chocolate bunny I made for her for Easter and forgot to bring it on Easter...I used the easter solutions to cut out the Happy Easter.

Another Cupcake...

This one is made with the $2 fuzzy socks from Michael's, which work really well. I used the Easter solutions cartridge for the wrapper and the Happy Bday is from Paper Pups.

Quilt

I made this quilt for Pam and Dave like ten years ago. It was a JoAnns block of the month kit.

Puppet Theater

I made this puppet theater for Madison a few years ago out of flannel lined silk with furry purple trim and sparkly sheer curtains.

Post it Note Holders w/ Pens

We got this idea from Dawn's Stampin' Thoughts and made some a while ago. Pam wanted to make a bunch for someone to sell for charity.

Pam's Bday Purse

I made this purse for Pam. It's 4 rectangles on each side sewn together and lined with a few pockets on the inside. I used fusible fleece to give it shape.

Quilt from a few years ago

I made this quilt for my aunt a few years ago and it was a free pattern from Walmart. I love the colors together.

HOME

I used the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge and cut out HOME from cardboard. Then I cut pretty papers and added some doodads like ribbon and buttons. Kinda cute...

Fabric Bracelet

These are really easy to make. I just sewed a tube of fabric, flipped it right side out, put a mini styrofoam ball in and tied a knot. You just keeping adding one then knotting it until you have the right sized bracelet or necklace and tie the ends together. You can use marbles but they add a lot of weight.

Simplify Sign

I made this for my mom since she is on her "no buy" kick. It's a plain almost clipboard rectangle (from Dollartree) that I put a patterned background and cut out the simplify and little bird using the Home Decor cartridge. I mod podged everything together and then put one coat over the whole thing.

Valentine's Day Heart Banner from Pam

This was the swap gift Pam made for me. It's a cute 3 heart banner on ribbon she made using her cricut.

Valentine's Day Craft Swap

I made this for Pam (hopefully you don't see it in the half hour before you leave this morning.) It's a frame and paper heart cutouts glued onto the front of the glass. I hot glued the edges of the glass to keep it from falling out and glued a bow and a loop to hang it. I may not be able to give it up. . .

Valentine's Day Magnets

Magnets made from bottlecaps. The one on the left uses mod podge and took weeks to dry completely and the one on the right was a clear glue that has a million air bubbles when it starts to dry.

Placemat Apron

I made this apron out of a placemat. I folded the edge up and sewed the ends and the middle to make two pockets. I used gros grain ribbon as the ties.
